3,4,5,6 August

3rd Another lazy morning for me.  Roger and I stayed up late talking, so I didn't go to bed until 1 am.  I didn't quite make to soccer this morning. We hung out in the afternoon playing Cluedo and Too Many Monkeys.  (Roger won both games, surprise).  Mackenzie had her hair straightened. 

 Keanna had some curls added.

And we went out to dinner for Andrea's Dad's birthday.

4th-  This morning everyone got a small sleep in.  Andrea and Tyler Rose headed off to a birthday party, Roger and Mackenzie went off to soccer, and Keanna accompanied me to church.  Keanna and I played a cranium game waiting for Roger and Mackenzie.  After a little lunch, I drove us into Auckland (scary for them) to meet up with Andrea and Tyler Rose at Kelly Tarltons Sea Life Aquarium 

Roger extracted my dark secrets :) until 2am and I had to get up at 6:45am for a beach sunrise.

5-  I knew if I didn't get up, I'd never hear then end of it from Roger, so I got up and was getting ready to leave, when I was informed that it was raining.  I went back to bed.  In the afternoon Roger, Andrea and I drove out to Shakespear Park at the end of the Whangaparaoa peninsula.  

We walked up to the lookout through sheep paddocks. ( at least none of them were giving birth. I've seen four live births so far).

In the evening, everyone headed off to sports and I went shopping by myself with the car.  I went to bed a little earlier (11) so I could try for a sunrise again.

6th -  at 6:45 am Roger knocked on my door to make sure I was up and we headed off to Red Beach for the sunrise.  Red Beach got its name from the red shells that wash up on its shores.  Roger said that when he was young (ages ago) it was covered in the shells.  There were a lot of them, but it wasn't covered.  We watched the sun rise and I stood with my feet in the water.

The weird thing is that for most of you this sun hasn't set yet on yesterday.  So look into the future and see the sunrise.:)
