22 July - shopping day

Today was supposed to be a laundry day and pack for a trip to Wellington, but it appears nature doesn't want us there.  Wellington, the capital of New Zealand has experienced a series of major earthquakes over the past few days.  We made the decision not to go.  Now we are going to the Bay of Islands in the north.  Laundry is done, packing has commenced, and in a few hours we will be leaving for the Macs holiday house.

We also spent the time shopping.  I bought a jumper, that's a sweater to you Americans. Went to an awesome store called Smiggles, but the highlight of the day was buying teaspoons.

They look huge in this picture, but they are small.  Not quite as small as baby spoons, but not much bigger.  I love using these spoons.  I eat cereal with them, cake with them, ice cream, basically anything I can.

I don't know how much Internet connection I'll have this week, but I'll do my best to post.

Twinner moment of the day:  Andrea and I bought the same sweater without knowing.  They are different colors

Never complain again moment of the day:  the USPS is soooo much better than the NZ post.  They still have stamps you lick, really long lines.  I will never complain about the post office again.
