If we lived in New Zealand we would make Rice Bubble treats and not Rice Krispie treats.
Instead of Frosted Mini Wheats, I might be eating black currant flavored mini wheats. Carrots are much thicker that what I can buy in Washington.
Later in the day we walked to pick up he girls from school and stopped at the Dairy (similar to a convience store like 7-11 but with more basic food items) to pick out treats (popcicles/ ice cream bars). Way too many to choose from. If we had that much variety in one place it would take me forever to choose!
We went to the Warehouse, a cross between Walmart and Target. I picked up some Crowded House CDs I can't get in the states.
Other highlights of the day:
* Meeting Tyler Rose for the first time (Roger & Andrea's oldest daughter)
* Watching Keanna at Kapa Haka- a class where they learn and perform Maori songs and dances along with important Maori values
* seeing a rainbow in New Zealand
*Getting my brain to make the correct lane choices 90% of the time while in the car with Andrea. I may feel comfortable enough to try driving soon.
